 FAQs

  • Exercise Physiologists are allied health professionals who specialise in using exercise to help manage chronic conditions, improve mobility, and support recovery. While physiotherapists often focus on acute injury and manual therapy, Exercise Physiologists provide long-term exercise and lifestyle programs to support ongoing health, rehabilitation, and functional improvement.

  • Mobile Exercise Physiology means the service comes to you—at home, in the community, or even at your gym. It eliminates the need for travel and waiting rooms while providing clinic-quality care in your own environment. This approach is ideal for clients with mobility limitations, busy schedules, or a preference for home-based care.

  • The first consultation involves a detailed assessment of your medical history, current physical function, and personal goals. From there, a tailored exercise plan will be developed to meet your individual needs. Education, support, and clear strategies will be provided to help you stay on track and work towards meaningful outcomes.

  • No referral is needed for private or NDIS-funded sessions. However, a GP referral is required if you’re accessing services through Medicare’s Chronic Disease Management Plan or WorkCover. If you're unsure, feel free to get in touch for guidance

  • Pricing depends on your funding source. Medicare provides rebates for up to 5 sessions per year with a GP referral. Many private health funds also offer rebates (no referral needed). NDIS, DVA, My Aged Care, WorkCover, and other insurers may also cover services. Get in touch for specific details based on your situation.
